Description

The Science and Cultural public benefit “Fotos Fotiades Institute” and the “SOFIA Foundation” organize on Thursday 14 January at 18:00, the presentation of the book by Chrystanthos Chrysanthou “Cartooning (Gelio-grafontas) the History of the Cyprus Problem” and a cartoon exhibition.

The event will be opened by Dr. Fotos Fotiades, president of “Fotos Fotiades Institute,” who will address the target of the organization of the exhibition and publication of the book. The exhibition will be inaugurated by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Marios Garoyian, under the auspices of which the event is held.

Within the framework of the exhibition, on Friday 15 January at 19:00 a free seminar on cartooning will be held with presentations by distinguished Greek and Cypriot cartoonists. Additionally, free cartooning workshops will be held on 16, 20, 23 and 27 January between 15:00-17:00, under the direction of Cypriot cartoonist Antonis Kellas.
