Description

This is the second workshop in the “Young Collectors” series, entitled: “Heads or tails for a thousand tales!” with animator Eleni Shouftas, teacher and illustrator.

An educational workshop that invites children to learn the history of Cypriot coins in an experiential manner, through role playing and visual activities. Inspired by the significant collection of the Museum of the History of Cypriot Coinage, “Young Collectors” will craft their own coin after they discover the reasons why coins are made, the mythological figures behind them as well as the basic elements that make them up.
