Description

Larnaka Cinema Society in collaboration with the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus presents the unique collection of short films, 'SEEING THE SELF', produced by young Syrian refugees and Lebanese teenagers who live in minority groups.

The filmmaking process was part of a psychological support workshop that aimed to empower young people and enhance their skills for self expression and creativity.

The programme was first presented in Cyprus by the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus in October of 2016. The Creative Directors of the festival Alexia Roider and Ioakim Mylonas will be attending the screening in order to introduce the programme and answer questions from the audience.

Language: The films will be presented in their original language with English subtitles.
