Workshop for children and teenagers 9 - 14 years old

A concertina takes on the simple form of a book by folding a long strip of paper and bounding it with card or paper on either side. The outcome is a series of pages that are attached to one another. Explore the art of making a simple book. Blank pages can be used to keep lists, ideas, archive information or inner thoughts.

The workshop will include topics and ideas such as, The colour blue, excerpt from a Sci-fi novel, a poem, etc. that can be used to tell a story using the book and make a start at filling the pages. This is a creative workshop involving making, drawing, painting and/or collage.
