Description

The performance is based on the music of the genius tango composers Astor Piazzolla and Carlos Gardel. The ballet also features the timeless songs "Besame Mucho" of Consuelo Velasquez and "Historia de un Amor" of Carlos Almarán.

"Under the Sky of Tango" tells the story of love that will last forever, overcoming all obstacles, a theme ideal for the island where the Goddess of Love was born.

Synopsis: 
"Under the Sky of Tango" is the name of a nightclub where people come to dance and watch a show. Here, our hero meets a dancer for the first time and falls in love with her. The feeling is mutual but the club owner is infuriated and with the help of his guards tries to get rid of the young man and bring back the girl to the club. However, threats don’t stop the couple in love - they want to be together no matter what. Unfortunately, fate strikes again – the former lover of the man kills the girl in a fit of jealousy. Death separates the lovers but the timeless music of tango unites everyone who is in love.
