Description

Stephanie Wood created a series of paintings called Sanctuaries. Gardens, courtyards and interiors that we create around our selves to feel comfortable, happy and secure in.
Stephanie Wood’s distinguishable style is characterised by using bold contrasting colours to depict still lives, landscapes, gardens and interiors. Her approach to the rendering of the subjects is highly graphical.

The artist has a B.F.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Victoria, Canada, where she specialised in Visual Arts. Previous to this she trained and worked as a Fashion Designer.
She later taught High School Art and designed art programs for British Columbia schools.

After some years studying theology (M. Div. and M.A.B.S.) she moved to Cyprus where her colours were instantly at home.

Stephanie Wood shows her work internationally, with exhibitions in the U.K., France, Israel and Cyprus. This year her work will be displayed in Forza 9 Gallery in Polis Chrysochous and Dino’s Art Café in Limassol.
