Description

Eidekanou Theatre organizes a three-day acting workshop with the greek actor Dimitris Imellos.

The workshop explores the presence of the actor on stage through poetic texts. The participants should choose a poem from the specific greek poets Kalvos, Kavafis, Sarantaris, Empirikos, Egonopoulos and Elitis in order to work with during the workshop.

Through improvisations the participants will search for the poetic use of objects, sounds and energies in order to reach the poetic dimension of language.

The workshop is addressed to actors and students of acting schools. In addition, it is open to directors, musicians and educators as workshop-listeners.
