The Cultural Center "Somewhere else" in cooperation with the Producer and Director, Michael Georgiades, presents a series of two-hour seminar entitled "From an idea to a movie" on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 and every Tuesday at 6:30 pm. (Until July 5, 2016).

How can materialize an idea into a movie? How a text can be written and then the film? Photography, editing, sound, text, pronunciation, music, presentation and distribution.

Structure of the course:
- History of the cinema with the professional Doros Demetriou.
- Presentation Idea of ​​each participant - Distribution Role
- Creation of script & Financial Budget
- Meet the equipment (camera, lights, etc.)
- Introduction to editing
- Presentation of documentary/ short film each participant.

Michalis Georgiades worked as Cinematographer and Editor at RIK. He was one of the founders of Lumiere, of Mediabox and Michelangelo company. Two short films have won awards at international festivals, as also has been awarded for his documentary films and commercials.
