19th Cyprus Contemporary Dance Festival

An award winning choreographer living and working in Tel Aviv, Israel. In the first, full of adrenalin, piece 6 male dancers explore a spectrum of maleness from testosterone and power to vulnerability and loneliness. The second piece is a trio performed under cascading sand, inspired by gestures taken from Jewish ritual. The dancers question faith rooted in belief of a higher power and in the power of community.
