Description

In the third of our series of A. G. L. G. workshops, we move on from sketching with pencil and charcoal and try our hand at oil paints under the guidance of Alexis Michaelides. Inspired by the Gallery’s exquisite collection of paintings, this eight-week workshop – two hours per week on Wednesdays and appropriate for all levels – will examine the techniques used by the Old Masters and give an introduction to the secrets of oil painting. A short guided tour will be included, discussing some of the Gallery’s most important works of art.
