Description

How do parents react to the revelation that their child is homosexual? What emotions do they struggle with and how do they deal with their primary feeelings? How is the family affected? How can they support their child and where can they get support for themselves?

Accept-LGBT Cyprus invites you to the event “My child is homosexual” on Tuesday, 22 March 2016, at the UNESCO room of the University of Nicosia, 18:00 – 20:00

The event will begin with a reading of aspects from the Bryce McDougall book “My child is gay – How Parents React When They Hear the News” (translated in Greek by the Rainbow Planet Publications), whilst members of the Accept-LGBT Cyprus group “Parents of LGBTI” will share their privatel experiences with the audience.
An open discussion will follow.
