Description

Arcade experimental art projects, Stoa Aeschylou presents "Le petit Chaperon rouge" by Eva Michalaki.

This project is a situation recreation. A fictional storytelling with autobiographical links. She is transforming the arcade’s space into a childhood recollection experience. “throwing toys from the window to the children on the street”.

The space is empty, the walls and floor are smooth, clothes are hanging from the ceiling the smell of lavender fills the room. There are three diaries for the visitor to seat down and read.

Eva’s Michalaki work is characterized by her fascination for image - moving + still. She has an obsession for collecting images, hanging objects (mobiles) and making travel journals (archives). In her installations, combining all these elements, she creates inviting environments for the audience to spend time in.

Exhibition opens on Friday 09.10.2009 at 19:00 and will also be open on Saturday 11:00 - 14:00 and 17:00 - 22:00.
