The island of emotions is a touching fairytale written by Manos Hadjidakis. Its narration by Alkis Baltas will be accompanied by improvisation performed by the CySO musicians A. Bargilly (violin), N. Ioannou (double bass) and M. Nicolaou (percussion). Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, Love and all the other emotions live together on an island until one day they find out that their island will sink… The imaginative and original children’s song collection The Lazy Dragon by George Hadjipieris has won over the hearts of children and grown-ups alike. Beloved Cypriot singers Doros Demosthenous and Katerina Andreou, accompanied by a children’s choir of Nicosia primary schools, will interpret, especially for you, ten highlights from this collection.
