The Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture organize for the seventh consecutive year, in cooperation with Theatro Ena and Brave New Culture, the Alternative Film Festival, titled “Images and Views of Alternative Cinema”.

According to the official announcement, this year's festival includes a tribute to Armenian director Artavazd Peleshian, who is considered as the last great innovator in film editing.

This year's programme is marked by diversity and the viewer will have the unique opportunity to watch films from different countries and eras which all have the common feature of experimentation and exploration of the limits of the cinema art.

As always the festival is framed with a series of parallel events. This year the festival includes a groundbreaking event with the Group Kine and Queen Makita from Greece, which will be presented Saturday June 7.
