Description

Kostas, having spent twenty years in Paris, decides to return to his homeplace, the island of Mytilene, a Greek island in the North Aegean sea. Prior to this decision, a notary public working in the island of Mytilene had contacted and told him that he was to inherit the family house. Kostas had left Mytilene at the age of 18 so as to pursue film studies in Paris. Since the time of his departure he had never returned back. A “heavy” family story had withheld him and had kept him away. Upon his return he reunites with the remaining alive relatives of his and reminisces those who have died. He also reminisces himself as a small child of 10 years old, at the time when the dramatic events had occurred within his family. Those alive as well as the ones who have died contribute in making Kostas love all over again his home place. His relationship with Eleni, a young woman working at the old peoples caring home of Mytilene, opens new paths in his life and artistic career.
