Description

Elsie Slonim, who was born in 1917 in the United States of America and grew up in Baden/Austria, has been living in Cyprus since many, many years. She is a very remarkable eye witness of history: her memories of the life she spent in Austria, Romania, the USA, Palestine/Israel and Cyprus are the substance of her autobiography (“Lemons from Pardadise”/ „Rosen aus der Sperrzone – Verwurzelung verboten“). Elsie Slonim will also read parts of her - soon to be published- new book.
After the reading there will be an open discussion with Elsie Slonim.

Within the framework of the event series of the "Month of the German Language"

The Literature Evening is organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Cyprus.
