The workshop will be in two parts; The first is a warm up, something in a constant evolution and growth; something that certainly has roots in the past but also in the present, with the aim of giving a hint of the feeling body /mater, which I experienced during my years of intense training. Recent studies in anatomy and physiology are a frame to my class’s structure, stretching, muscular strengthening and short sequences are adapted to the individual possibilities, while funny or rhythmical music supports and carries the bodies during this journey. The second part will be devoted to research through improvisation, which will help to find new creative inputs. Improvisation is a worthwhile tool for the choreographic research. It is the vehicle for spontaneity, which leads very often to unexpected and surprising types of movement and situations. Nevertheless the improvisation will have a special focus on the exploration of “boundaries" as a way to find choreographic freedom.

The workshop is addressed to professionals and semi-professionals.
