Giannis Miliokas is a Greek-rock artist that first became known in the 80s. He was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1955. He became known as both composer and singer, creating an interesting rock genre blending various musical styles, from Greek folk to pop. Pluralism in arrangements and humour in lyrics have been main characteristics in all his albums. He may be considered the creator of what is called "bucolic rock". He also worked together with famous Greek female vocalists, such as E.Manou, E.VItali and Glykeria.
