Description

The Cyprus International Film Festival celebrates its tenth edition this year and presents an interesting screening program of short and feature films.

The Centre of Visual Arts and Research (#CVAR/Severis Foundation), located in 285, Ermou Street in the heart of the walled city of Nicosia will host the festival screenings in the beautiful openair relaxed roof garden with a big screen. http://cvar.severis.org/

The program will satisfy the most demanding viewer and anyone who wants to live the magic of cinema through the fresh positive vision of young artists from Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, England, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, India, Poland and Malta who compete for the "Golden Aphrodite" awards!

This year of moral and financial crisis, #CyprusInternationalFilmFestival gives a great importance to the European dimension of this year's program and the guests and the development of intercultural dialogue. The selected cultural venues in Nicosia and Pafos and showtimes are intended to offer to lovers of the Seventh Art a chance to pleasantly attend a marathon screenings both in Nicosia and Pafos.

The program includes a total of 12 short films and 12 feature films.

The films will be screened with original dialogues and English / Greek subtitles.

The VIP jury encounters among others filmmakers the producers Vivek Singhania from India and George Robertson from Canada.
