Description

The Euromeditteranean Festival is being organized by the Municipality of Lemesos for the 4th consecutive year. The Municipality of Lemesos, in association with the surrounding local councils, is proud to have established a cultural revival in the center of the city as well as reaching the areas outside of the city. This year’s programme offers local residents the opportunity to relax in the hot days of August and enjoy magnificent performances from visiting artists.

Monday August 3rd 2009
Opening Ceremony

19:30 Parade of participating groups in the streets of Lemesos ending at the District Administration Office Square where the Mayor Mr. Andreas Christou will welcome the groups.

20:30 Performance with the participation of all groups.

Tuesday August 4th 2009

20:30 The Lemesos Municipality in association with the local council of Agia Fyla present a performance with all participating groups. At the courtyard of Panagia Chrisaifiliotisa church, at Agia Fyla.

Wednesday August 5th 2009

20:30 The Lemesos Municipality in association with the local councils of Agios Nicolaos & Neapolis present a performance with all participating groups. At «Kostas Partasides Park» at Agios Nicolaos.

Thursday August 6th 2009

20:30 The Lemesos Municipality in association with the local council of Zakaki present a performance with all participating groups. At the courtyard of Agia Varvara church, at Zakaki.

Friday August 7th 2009
Closing Ceremony

19:30 Parade of the groups starting from the Lemesos Municipal Garden (seafront road) and ending at the town’s Old Port.

20:30 Performance with groups participating, at the Old Port.
