The non-governmental Social Policy and Action Organization, within the scope of its social programme PAKETA AGAPIS, is organizing a Charity Cuban Night, with the famous Cuban artists MENDEZ AND LATIN CONNECTION, on Saturday, 11th July 2015, at 21:00 p.m., at the beautiful venue FARMA in Lakatamia, Nicosia.

A wonderful night for all those loving Cuban music and wish to dance to latin-american rhythms, in a beautiful and warm atmosphere, supporting at the same time the night’s charity cause.

All net proceeds with be given to enhance the Programme PAKETA AGAPIS, which was launched in June 2014 by the Organization, in aim to practically support poor and disadvantageous families, children and others threatened by social exclusion. The Programme’s activities include purchase and distribution of food and other remedies, collection and distribution of cloths, finding jobs to unemployed and provision of voluntary services to cover daily needs.

The Organization has supported a large number of families, through a series of events which have been organized until today, including the Concerts Marinella-Kostas Hatzis “Recital” in June 2014, Concerts Haris Alexiou-Tania Tsanaklidou in September 2014 and Solidarity Concert “Megali Agkalia…Megala Tragoudia”, with Giorgos Stamataris, Mikaella Hatziefrem, Flora Konstantinou and Michali Leventi in November 2014.
The current goal of the Organization is, through the Programme PAKETA AGAPIS, to become able to provide, apart from current help and services, also financial assistance up to 100 Euros, to poor families to cover urgent needs, including payment of electricity and water bills, purchase of medicines and others.
