Description

The Institute of Greek Language – Center of study and culture – "Starting Point", a new educational and cultural area, has as main aim to promote the commonly hidden but yet beautiful and original creations of Cypriot artists. On May 23rd & 24th 2015 Simio Afetirias welcomes 18 Cypriot artists, professionals and amateurs, offering them a warm exhibition area to promote their work.

The unique architecture of the place, as it is a restored 19th century residence, but mostly its warm atmosphere created by the owners of the center along with their partners, provides a special character to the exhibition.

Artists: Marcos Demetriou, Tijen Eroll, OoQ Petit with Louisa Kontomeniotou, Annita Anastasiou, Christina Antoniadou, Elena Armosti, Panagiotis Gregoriou, Ioanna Kalogirou, Thrasivoulos Karayiannis, Eleni Kindini, Anna Louca, Antri Pavlidou, Gianna Perentou Frantzi, Maria Perentou, Chara Savvidou, Mika Stylianidou, Theodoros Chatzigeorgiou and Yiannis Chatzipanagis.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by the Mayor of Nicosia, Mr Constantinos Yiorkadjis on Saturday, May 23rd at 12:00 a.m.

The exhibition will be open for the public on May 23rd and 24th from 11 a.m until 7 p.m.
