Description

On the occasion of the World Storytelling Day, the University of Cyprus hosts storyteller Evi Gerokosta from Greece to give a series of storytelling performances entitled Stones speak and tell tales, from 25-27 March 2015.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear stories from the oral tradition around the world and tale-like stories of the Greek and world literature. Ms. Gerokosta uses the voice, movement and simple props for her storytelling, appropriate for all ages. The duration of the show is 1 hour.

She has translated more than 30 books for children and adults and published five picture books. She narrates stories professionally since 2003 and her performances hosted in schools, libraries, bookstores, music halls, theaters, and festivals in Greece and abroad.
