Description

Based on the tradition of Cape Verde and with influences from a family with a strong musical background, she has bridged the traditional with the modern in a fine blend of jazz, Brazilian music and African sounds. Her songs are representative of the beauty and character of her island, which seems to be one with the ocean. Guitarist Lucien Zerrad has compiled the songs forming an excellent blend of acoustic and electric sounds.
