Description

The group "Οκλαδόν" presents the show: "Thousand and One Nights'.
The Art of Storytelling meets the Art of the Shadow Theatre and
alongside with the Art of Music which accompanies the stories with live
musical compositions brings to you a mystic show.

By narrating the story of Caliph Sachriar, who lost his confidence
towards people, and Sachrazat, who managed to soften his heart by
telling him stories, the show highlights the personal struggle of every
human with their demons, which isolate and makes them suspicious.
Perhaps a process of sharing and through an emotional interaction one
can recognize the bright aspects within themselves and also realize that
goodness can exist within the others.

Members: Veronika Aloneftou (music editor, dulcimer & percussion),
Marina Katsari (narration), Theodore Kostidakis (shadow theater),
Katerina Pantela (artistic director).

The group "Οκλαδόν" is a collaboration between "Παραμυθίες” (a
Storytelling group who narrates folk and traditional stories with musical
accompaniment) and "ΚαρακιόΖΕΙΣ παντού!" (that performs Shadow
Theatre and gives Shadow workshops).
