Description

Milena Ugren Koulas presents an evening of solos entitled "Nothing to Forget." Her choreography is personal, and although, has a specific style, each work has a different emotional and movement story to tell. Possibly, the most innovative dance maker in Cyprus, Ugren's work is based on movement, rather than theatrical elements. She casually interweaves everyday gesture and expressions with her idiosyncratic movement vocabulary. Interestingly, the choreographer commissions music after she completes her choreography, each piece bearing original composition/improvisation by Giorgos Koulas, a celebrated drummer and percussionist. The performance will be accompanied by live music performed by George Koulas. After the performance you can enjoy a concert by the Irinaeos Koullouras Jazz Trio.
