Description

Lefkosia Youth Ballet presents "Celestial Youth". A two act performance incorporating extracts from the Classical ballet "La Bayadere" for the first act. This ballet is set in exotic India and the selection of the dances that will be performed, include among others, the humble dance of the bayaderes (priestesses), the celebration of the princes’ wedding in the palace and finally the dance of the Shades.

The second act will give the audience a completely different feeling and overall experience as it is a modern, Neoclassical piece. Choreographed by Galatia Savva, the Youth Ballet students will perform "From Dawn to Dusk".
