Description

George Georgiades presents his new work at Gallery Kypriaki Gonia from 14 - 30 November 2014. The inauguration is on Friday, 14 November at 8:00 p.m. by Mr. Antis Partzilis.

George Georgiades was born in Larnaca in 1983. He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts, graduating in 2010. In the same year he presented his first solo exhibition in Kefalonia. His active participation in group exhibitions started in Cyprus in 2009. To date his works have appeared in a number of exhibitions both in Cyprus and abroad and he has received three honorary awards. In particular, he has taken part in exhibitions in Cyprus, Greece, the Netherlands and Egypt.

In addition to painting, in 2007 he became involved in stage design. So far he has created the sets for various theatrical plays, children’s’ shows, and short films. He also undertook the decoration of the Public Swimming Pool in Pefki. He lives and works in Larnaca, where he has a workshop and showroom.
