Chorotheatro Omada Pende Presents "Le Lac Des Cycles" by Chloe Melidou.

Continuing her artistic research on the archetypal recurring motifs in fiction and kinesiological writing, the choreographer delineates several stories in a single image… or multiple images from one single story…

A project with strong traditional and folk elements with subtle references to social and ethical constraints, on psychological compulsions and also a comment regarding the wishes, dreams and desires that turn into sake. A personal kinesiological narrative of everyday life as an internal experience, with our body being the vehicle of all archetypes.

In the most mundane and everyday stories, when the cycle resembles a tedious repetition on a straight line, the choreographer tries to identify recurring archetypal images, testing the limits of physical and mental endurance.
