Description

The Cypriot photographer and film director Panicos Chrysanthou was present when the Berlin Wall opened on 9th November 1989 and he photographed this dramatic moment of recent world history. He also documented the opening of the crossings in Nicosia in 2003, which ended almost 30 years of separation. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall we present 40 selected works by this extraordinary photographer.

The opening of the exhibition will be on Wednesday, 29th October 2014 at 7.00 pm in the presence of the artist.

After the opening we will present the film "Our Wall" from 1993 by Panicos Chrysanthou and Niyazi Kizilyurek (in Greek/Turkish with English subtitles)

The Exhibition is opened Monday - Friday from 12 noon until 6.00 pm.
