Description

The awarded movie of the Turkish-Cypriot director Dervis Zaim is projected in collaboration with the Cyprus University – Humanities Department. Reporting the communal conflict of 1963, that separates a young girl from her puppeteer father. Mutual taboos of both sides are recorded through her eyes.

Performers: Osman Alka, Hazar Erg, Popi Avraam, Pantelis Antonas, Constantinos Gavriel.

Followed by a discussion with the director Dervis Zaim and faculty’s dean Niyazi Kizilyurek.
