Description

In France during 1982, 21 June was established as the World Music Day. Today it is celebrated in more than 100 countries world-wide. Within the framework of the Music Day, both organized as well as impromptu performances take place with presentation of all music genres.

With the opportunity of the World Music Day, the Nicosia Municipality, the German Cultural Centre Goethe, and the French Cultural Centre organize a series of performances:

- "Chypre en Choeur" choir, under the direction of Nicolas Papageorgiou

- Choir from Cameroon

- French-German jazz quartet "Erdmand 3000" (saxophone, guitar, contrabass, percussions), with the participation of French trumpet player Yves Robert.

- Group "Druminspire"
