Description

The Photography Season at the Loukia and Michael Zampelas Art Museum continues into the second exhibition by the photographer Steve McCurry on 5th of August. Divided between two thematic exhibitions, the most iconic images of the legendary photographer Steve McCurry will be presented in two exhibitions in the summer season.

The famous photo of the Afghan Girl, taken by Steve in McCurry in 1985 will appear on both exhibitions.

The second exhibition “Landscapes” will run from 5 August to 30 September. Through the distinctive artistic eye of the award winning Steve Mc Curry, the viewer has the opportunity to experience the grace and beauty of nature through the image of a girl running into the sunset in Ethiopia or a man rowing his boat with one leg at the lake Inle, Burma.
