Description

The Limassol Municipality organizes every year a rich programme of events, to celebrate "Kataklysmos".

The folk festival will be held this weekend June 7 - 9 , at the south of the Public Garden at the tennis courts and includes a rich cultural program with local music groups and folk poetry "Tsiatista".

The events are expected to attract thousands of locals and visitors enjoying their holidays in Cyprus, who will have the opportunity to listen to local bands and music and taste traditional dishes .

Programme:

Saturday - Monday, June 7-9 In the Public Garden
A fair will take place, where you can find Cypriot products and other traditional items.

Sunday, June 8 at the tennis court south of the Public Garden:
• 8.00pm The Dance School Machallekidi will present a rich cultural program with folk and Latin American dances will present a rich program with traditional dances and Cypriot songs "Tsiattista".
• 9.00pm The Cultural Society " NEW HORIZONS " presents Greek traditional dances from various regions of Greece (Thessaly , Epirus , islands , etc. ).

Monday 9 June at the tennis court south of the Public Garden:
• 8.00pm The Cultural Dance Group " Dionysos " presents traditional dances , traditional songs and tsiattista with the singer Anna Aristeidou.
• 8.45m.m. The 7-member Music Ensemble of Michael Hadzimichael presents a rich cultural program with selected folk songs, rebetika and island songs . Singing: vasiliki Hatziadamou and Demetra Hatzimichael .
