Karagiozis is getting married and we are all invited to the event of the year! Whom will he marry though? Hatzivatis’ beautiful daughter that is being presented to him as a bride in the beginning or the elderly sister of the Pasha whom no one wants to take in marriage? Will they be able to fool the barefoot hunchback or will he laugh last at the end and with him all of us? The answers behind the curtain in one of the most entertaining performances of the traditional shadow play theatre, presented by puppeteer Christodoulos Antoniou Pafios, grandson of Christodoulos Pafios (1904-1987), the great master of this ancient art that has been inextricably linked with the Greek popular tradition. The performance is complemented by an exhibition of advertising leaflets and posters from the personal collection of Christodoulos Antoniou Pafios.
