Invitation for the event Creative Arts Therapies: A window for Expression and Communication. Saturday 31th May, from 9:30 to 2:00, at the University of Nicosia (Dance Studio of the Deaf school) Nicosia.

The event includes:
- Myth enactment and a discussion on the themes related to the application of the Creative Arts Therapies.
- An exhibit of informative visual and written material about the Creative Arts Therapies. There will be an opportunity for professional networking.
- A talk on the role of Creative Arts in the Mental Health Services in Cyprus.
-A presentation of the European dimension of Creative Arts Therapies referring to accredited academic trainings and professional standards.

The event is open to professionals from the health, mental health, education and social work sectors as well as theatre, dance, music and art professionals, students, parents and anyone else who might be interested.

The event is organised by a group of Creative Arts Therapists whose aim is to present the therapeutic power of the arts.

At the end of the event, certificates of attendance will be given.
