Description

“The New Theatre Group (Photos Photiades)” presents Michalis Pasiardis play “Theseus in the belly of Minotaur’”, in the CyBC theatre in Nicosia from 2nd to 11th May 2014 (10 performances) at 8.30 pm.

It is a modern play based on the ancient legend of Theseus and the Minotaur, adapted for the modern era. Here, Theseus is a young man with the special ability of discovering oil. Minos takes him in his service in order to boost his operations on a global scale. Meanwhile, Minos’ daughter Ariadne, falls in love with Theseus and helps keep him in her father’s business.
