Description

The guitarist and composer Sotiris Kasparides presents the recital “Journeys”. The guitarist is accompanied by Rodoula Panayidou (piano), Marios Nicolaou (marimba), Nicolas Sideris (bouzouki) and Louiza Demosthenous (guitar).

The recital includes works by Joaquin Rodrigo, Manuel de Falla, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Astor Piazzolla and Sotiris Kasparides.

The performance consists of a variety of genres of classical guitar music. These guitar works display specific Hispanic and Argentinian colours and along with the works of Sotiris Kasparides create different styles, new musical ideas and duets of piano, marimba, and bouzouki with the guitar.
