Description

In the framework of celebrating 200 years since the birth of the Belgian instrument maker Adolph Sax, the Cyprus Saxophone Association Saxophonia organises a two-day Saxophone Festival open to any professional and amateur saxophonists. The festival will take place on Saturday 1st February 2014 at the Pangkyprio Lykeio in Nicosia (Nicosia Music Lyceum) and on Sunday 2nd February 2014 at the Laniteio Lykeio in Limassol (Limassol Music Lyceum), between 1:30p.m. and 5:30p.m. On both days, the seminars will be followed by an open concert.

The 2-day festival will include seminars, open rehearsals, participation in small and larger saxophone ensembles, book and CD exhibition about the saxophone etc. Participation for both days costs €10 and has to be submitted before the beginning of the seminars.
