Description

The DigiMe 2013 Photography Competition was themed around "We Participate!", aiming to highlight the importance of active citizenship in a time of transition in Cyprus and the EU as a whole.

With the European Year of Citizens 2013 coming to an end, the competition was intended to document those instances where people have contributed to our society, and encourage each and every one of us to keep on working for the common good!

The Awards for the two best photographs will be presented by the Head of the European Commission Representation in Cyprus Mr George Markopouliotis, with the winners each winning an all-expenses paid trip to Brussels.
