Description

It is not a coincidence that these two artists share the same surname. They are father and son. What is so beautiful in this joint exhibition is that we see the contrasts of their styles.

In the works of Chrisos, the father, we see a purity, a simplicity that begins spiritually and thoughtfully and develops into well defined figures which resemble porcelain dolls of a different culture. The lines are clean, the shadows are correct but peculiar and the colors mix in a harmonious way. On the other hand the paintings of Achilleas are sharp. The brush strokes are broad, thick, spontaneous and strong.
