Description

'Imbroglio_A state of mind' is a contemporary art exhibition that focuses on ontology, dilemma, disputation, derange and complication. Works presented will be questioning the nature of the inner self when mental activity is being driven by personal experience. Ten artists were asked to submit work in response to an individual reaction to an event or situation that inspired them to create artwork. . Throughout the show art will be defined as experience. Reflection/empathy and mental identification will set up a new relationship between the artist work and the viewer.

From 14th to 18th of September the show will be open for the audience. The opening will be on Friday, 13th of September at the Cultural Centre 'Miloi' at Kaimakli. The Mayor of Nicosia Mr. Constantinos Giorkatzis will inaugurate the exhibition at 17:30pm following by an interventive theatrical action by Marilena Kyriakou, one of the artists.
