Description

Series of performances entitled “En Archi esti o Logos” (“In the Beginning is the Word”) revolving around poetry accompanied by various forms of art such as music, dance, painting, acting etc.

Taking part in the event are eleven established poets from ten European countries: France-Pascale Petit, Germany-Albert Ostermaier, Greece-Michalis Gkanas, Ireland-Peter McDonald, Spain-Luis Alberto de Cuenca, Italy-Ennio Cavalli, Cyprus-Lefkios Zafiriou, Cyprus-Mehmet Yashin, Latvia-Edvins Raups, Serbia-Duska Vrhovac, Sweden-Kerstin Norborg.

The poets recite their work in the language they write in while translations are displayed on screens and live music accompanies the recital.

A poetry book exhibit will operate on the premises.
