Haris Alexiou comes to Cyprus this September for concerts together with "Nouveau Sextet".

The celebrated singer chose to work with six soloists who joined forces especially for her and formed the Nouveau Sextet. Together, they play songs in which Eastern colour meets Western inventiveness. Songs old and new, famous and unknown, folky and oriental, ballads and numbers with a jazzy feel to them, all played on twenty different instruments and sung in Alexiou’s emotive voice. A moving journey around the world’s musical traditions, on which contemporary song and tradition become two worlds in one soul.
