Argentine Composer and Virtuoso Bandoneónist Ástor Pantaleón Piazzolla revolutionized the Traditional Tango into a new style termed Nuevo Tango. This New Tango is distinct from the traditional tango in its incorporation of elements of jazz and classical music, and its use of extended harmonies and dissonance, its use of counterpoint, and its ventures into extended compositional forms.

Cypriot Composer and Pianist Maestro Yiannis Hadjiloizou takes this unique style a step further by incorporating Traditional Cypriot Elements into what Piazzolla had started a few decades earlier.

An All-Star cast of 15 musicians from around the world led by Maestro Yiannis Hadjiloizou has been assembled especially for this rarely performed concert.

All proceedings will be donated to the Children of UNICEF.
