Description

Crossroads youth theatre camp is organised for the fourth consecutive year at the Cultural Centre of Kaminaria village in Limassol, from Friday 19th July until Sunday 28th July 2013. The camp is designed for young people aged 15-18 years old.

The core of Crossroads is the art of theatre, which is used as a tool for creative expression and communication as well as a tool for cross-cultural education for young people who live in Cyprus.

The facilitators of the camp are skilled educators and artists who will be daily implementing workshops on theatre techniques, team building and dialogue. Also, young people will be using and experimenting with other art forms related to theatre (mask making, puppetiring, mime, photography, music, dance and movement). Included in the camp program are also activities such as orienteering, other outdoor activities as well as watching a theatre performance.

The camp ends on its 10th day with a performance by the young people which is built daily through the entire process. The performance is open to and free for the public

Crossroads IV is organised through a collaboration of the NGO TheatrEtc and, for a third consecutive year, with the NGO Culture in Action.

Participation to the camp is free.
